He began his career in finance in 1995, eventually opening a satellite office for his former firm before founding HighMark Wealth Strategies in 2006—the foundation of what is now HighMark Wealth Advisors. From the beginning, Doug’s vision has been to create a practice rooted in client-first values, offering an exceptional level of service and support.

Outside the office, Doug enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, especially in the beautiful state of Maine.

Tim Ginley brings 27 years of experience to his role as Partner and Senior Financial Advisor. He is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and guiding them through customized investment planning strategies that support their goals—especially as they approach and transition into retirement.

Tim specializes in retirement income planning and portfolio construction and management, combining deep industry knowledge with a personalized approach to help clients feel confident in their financial future.

He began his career in financial services shortly after earning a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Outside the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, following Boston sports teams, and boating.
